Floodplain area down by the creek is muddy. Played on a 24 degree afternoon, so mud was partially frozen and not too bad
Mature trees in a nice park. This is a small multi-use community park and gets quite crowded on nice days. It's best to play weekdays, early mornings, and late afternoon rounds, but playing at any time is easy with #3 in a new position and #4 having an alt tee pad.
From the East... US Hwy 45 into Eldorado, until you come to intersection with IL Hwy 142 (State St). Go northwest on State St. At intersection where hwy 142 veers north, continue straight ahead onto Raleigh Rd. Continue for 2.7 mi, then right (north) on Karel Park Rd. Then 0.3 mile to the park on the right.
From the West... IL Hwy 34 to Intersection with Raleigh Rd. (near Raleigh). Go east onto Raleigh Rd. through town for 2 miles, then left (north) on Karel Park Rd. Then 0.3 mile to the park on the right.
