1. Best teepads I have ever seen. Long and short pads are color coded with hole numbers engraved into the concrete.

2. Multiple pin locations for variety.

4. Great mix of wooded and open field holes.

I've played almost every course within 30 miles of Minneapolis and this is by far my favorite. I put this course ahead of BRP and Bryant.

The hours because it's attached to a school, especially this time of year (October) you are limited to weekend play

I love this course, it's easily my current favorite.. it has such a variety of holes and options you could play many different combinations of this course

-Some holes that are open, some that are wooded
-Red tees to red pins, blue tees to blue pins, making it so you can play a pretty easy, or a pretty tough round.
-72 total hole configurations... (Red to Red, Red to Blue, Blue to Blue, Blue to Red -- Each of those having 18!) Wow!
-Really well mowed and kept

-A fair amount of graffiti on the tee-box markers... Ugh, really people?
-I've noticed chains missing a coupe of times being there, but generally ok
-No cement teeboxes... yet.

This course is the nicest course I've played that is a free-to-play course. One of the things I really like about it is that you get a few open holes to open up your round, then head into the woods for about 13 holes, then you're back out in the open to finish up, so it is a good variety.

Somehow, it feels like more holes go uphill, rather than downhill, but this may just be my impression because uphill holes tend to be more memorable to me. Many of the downhill holes are doglegs and quite wooded, so don't expect any holes where you get to throw absolute bombs downhills.

The cement teeboxes are not in yet, but I have heard that they are adding cement for all 36 teeboxes early next season through July.

One of the other courses nearby is Alimagnet and I can cite a few differences between the two in case you have played that one and aren't certain if you want to try this one.
-18 holes instead of 12.
-Red tees to red baskets is probably an easier course for the average player
-Blue tees to blue baskets is probably tougher than Alimagnet for the average player
-Generally more wooded than Alimagnet
-The pins aren't quite as well manicured and setup with retaining walls as the Aligmanet "greens" are

Once those are in, this has the chance to be one of the best courses free or paid!

Definitely a must play if you are in the area!
