Newly completed 18 holes

Reviewed: Played on:May 6, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fairly flat course that plays near the walking path which if you play it as OB could make it a much harder course.

It appears that this was a 9 hole course for many years and has only recently been pushed to 18. There are good holes on the added portion as well.

You are mainly throwing around big old growth hardwood trees and if you can snake a line you will usually have a birdie look. Distances are in between 200-380 and you never need an absolute cannon to score though on a couple of the middle holes it's helpful.

There are also a couple of mandos including a tricky double that could cause mild trouble for some players.

Baskets are the classic red white and blue veterans and I didn't have any issues, though it was so windy normal putts were rarely headed to the chains anyway.

Pads are concrete and decent size, and the signs are accurate and helpful for navigating.

They also have an old tree stump with shelves carved into it to make a lost and found. And it actually had unmarked discs in it which is commendable.

Cons:

It's all flat, very straightforward and there is no elevation/water/unique element to take it to a new level.

There was a lot of standing water on the back 9 due to recent storms but I doubt that's always there and to be honest is kind of a pro and con.

The proximity of the walking path is not ideal and you will have to wait fairly often for people to clear. They are in no hurry either one lady took a solid 5 minutes taking pictures of her dog.

Other Thoughts:

It's a fun little track and ideal glow league course, not bad for my first one in Arkansas.

Fun rec course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 23, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Lots of shade
Not too long, not too short
Grass was mowed very short

Cons:

Parking is gravel at the moment
most of the holes can be thrown with a hyzer shot, although hole 9 has a mando forcing the turnover.

Other Thoughts:

When I play a lot of these smaller courses I rarely see anyone playing, Not the case on this course, there were a couple of groups with bags, but what I was most excited about was the kids (well actually teens) with one disc each playing the course.

This is a very rec friendly course. Not much of a challenge to a pro, I believe I only missed the 2 on two holes due to missing putts. But as far as a rec player, no rough, no water, almost impossible to loose a disc on this course.

But there are plenty of tall trees to navigate, that also gives you plenty of shade on a hot day.

Would I play here again? Yea, if I was in the area, it was a fun ace run course.
