Pros:
The 6 baskets are in great shape.
Pretty easy to figure out which basket to throw to.
Grass was mowed.
Playground for the kids. Plus Gaga ball courts.
Pretty hard to lose a disc unless you have a really bad throw.
Super fast round is great for the course baggers, you should be able to finish a round in 10 minutes or so. Also, it is a pretty easy layout to figure out.
Cons:
The biggest con is that there are no tee pads or tee signs. I played the course by throwing basket-to-basket.
When throwing basket-to-basket there are places where you are throwing over other activities. For instance on hole 3 you throw over 2 gaga ball pits.
Hole 3 is also very close to a property line. A big noob hyzer could easily clear the fence.
Not only are the holes short but they are also straight with no obstacles.
Other Thoughts:
If you are reading this review to figure out if it is worth going to this course or not I would say if you are already in the area to play Oakwood Community Park then it's worth the couple minute detour to bag. But if you are looking for a proper disc golf experience then I would suggest skipping it. If you are a hardcore course bagger it doesn't matter what I say you will come to boost your course count.
For a rating I am going to give it a 1.0. Which is a bit generous for a course with no tees. But since this a school course aimed at grade school kids I'm not going to be too hard on it. From my walk around the grounds I think they could have made some better holes. But I think making it only a 6 hole course was a good decision since it might have been tough fit in 9 holes.
