Pros:
• Very good use of the available space.
• Every hole has an obstacle and/or OB area. You have to careful not to over shoot into the ravine on holes 2 and 7.
• Holes 3-5 are tough and creative.
• Uncrowded.
• Bi-fold maps with scorecard at Tee 1
• Decent variety of shots required.
Cons:
• Grass and loose dirt tees.
• Small park may create user conflicts on busy days.
• No long holes.
• Hole 6 should not be a Par 4
• Only #5 has any elevation.
Other Thoughts:
I was impressed with the design of this course. There is not much space to work with here, but the designers did a great job of making a small 9-hole course into a moderately challenging round of golf. There are many birdie chance for less experienced players. Holes 3 and 4 have thick trees, bushes, and OB that make some tight lines. These holes also dogleg to the right, so they will challenge RHBH throwers. #5 has a cool uphill tee shot over a ravine. The six holes located in the grassy park area are short, but all have some tree obstacles and/or OB to keep them from being too boring. I am looking forward to playing this course again. It is a good addition to the Treasure Valley disc golf scene.
