Pitch and Putt 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 27, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

If you live or are visiting Vernon, you have somewhere to sling your lids! This 9 hole, basketed course is built on an old Par 3 ball golf course and is nicely groomed. After a short search we were able to find the concrete hole markers and navigate easily from there. Tee pads are natural and the course plays in a convenient circle to and from the parking lot.

Cons:

The course is quite short, flat and mostly wide open. Advanced players would score well with putters alone.

Other Thoughts:

There is additional room in the park to make several of the holes more challenging, bringing water and brush into play. If I were local, I would definitely have a 'back 9' going.
This course would not classify as a destination for most, but serves the purpose for players in town or passing through.
