Horrible Design 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 4, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good baskets on the back nine. Fairly open with some OB on the front nine

Cons:

Too many trees on lots of the holes. Don't care for the homemade baskets on the front nine. Some holes are unrealistic with the par and length of the course with low ceiling and tons of trees.

Other Thoughts:

Will never play this course again.

Now 18 Holes, nice baskets and Length on the Back 9 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Apr 16, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Now 18 Holes
-Holes 10-18 have much nicer installed baskets
-A few holes offer challenging, tight shots
Update- Tee pads are now cement

Cons:

-Holes 1-13 have very little variation
-Horrible wind no matter when you play
-Baskets on 1-9 don't hold putts

Other Thoughts:

Overall, the course is a little better with the addition of holes 10-18. It's relieving to putt on those baskets compared to the homeade baskets on 1-9. However, by the end of the round you just feel happy to be done. The wind is always very high and it makes playing a good or even average round quite difficult. For sure don't go out of your way for this course. If anything just play holes 10-18 for a few tight shots and bearable baskets.

Updated to a 3.0, tee pads are now cemented. If you want a course that has decent length on some holes and easier short shots on others, give this course a try.

Local Homemades 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 3, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

+Interesting homemade baskets
+A few shorter holes with water potential if you over throw
+Most holes are ace runs
+Might get some kids interested in the game and then they can go out and discover some better courses. Could be used for gym classes. Something is better than nothing in that regard.

Cons:

-There are no real obstacles here. There is the water behind a few holes but that isn't hard to avoid. All trees are too small to do anything.
-Could lose a disc in the water or the annoying tall grass next to the 10 foot wide fairway area for hole 5-6.
-The baskets allow many good putts to miss or bounce out.
-The course is very open and in a windy area on the plains. Bring overstable plastic and think about your throws!
-All holes are pretty short and there's not a lot of variation.
-Hardly any elevation.
-Just not a good place for a disc golf course.
-Tees are hard to find and are gravelly and slippery. Unless maintained, they will be overgrown by next year.
-Course is pretty crammed at points.
-Tees are close to baskets. Could be dangerous.

Other Thoughts:

+I was really stretching to find good things about this course. This area is pretty devoid of many good courses.
-I wouldn't stop here at all unless you are a course bagger or live in town.
-The day that I played was cold and windy but I didn't let that affect my review, this course isn't good.
