Soak and Throw 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 23, 2019 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Fun 9 hole course. Great elevation changes on the course. No tees pads but well marked with signage.

Holes 1 thur 4 pretty open.

Hole 5 blind shot around maintenance shed down hill

Hole 6 nice straight shot trees on the left side of the basket

Hole 7 slight up hill shot with so guardian trees

Hole 8 in between the water park and apartments (keep is low)

Hole 9 across the road near parked cars and river

Cons:

Holes 5 thur 9 watch for people/kids/ parked cars.

Other Thoughts:

Nice little course in a small town. If you are going to soak might as well throw. I heard it gets really busy in the summer months with lots of people. I went early summer, didn't have to watch for pedestrians or cars.

Good beginner course or if you trying new disc to see what they do. Good place for that.

Played in deep snow in winter 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 22, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

- open area, not much traffic
- spread out 9 hole
- couple of basket locations
- signs on every hole
- shop in town that sells discs and bags

Cons:

- played in about 2-3 feet of snow
- hard to find discs sometimes
- hard to find tee pads
- should use map

Other Thoughts:

Tricky with lots of snow on the ground, plays right next to highway to be careful on few holes. hole 2 i think it was played into a ravine hard to see from tee pad.

Good course for beginners 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 27, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This course is very forgiving, except for one hole (hole #9 - that runs along the Portneuf River). Most holes are surrounded by lots of open fields. Excellent place for beginners to get started playing. Double-chained baskets are top-notch. The grass and fields are well-maintained.

Cons:

Tee boxes are not well marked. They are indicated either by small red flags stuck in the ground or white paint sprayed on the grass. I had to play the course three times before I finally was able to figure out the correct matching of tee boxes and holes.

Other Thoughts:

This is largely a non-technical course. There are a few ups and downs, but nothing really worth mentioning. There are two blind holes (#3 and #8) and watch out for the pool on Hole #8.
