A course designed to introduce children to the sport, and intended to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the nine holes at Inlow aren't long (the biggest is the 185' hole 4), but they do provide variety and challenge for the intended group. Fantastic signage, large, level, and flush concrete tees, and new DisCatcher baskets flow nicely counter-clockwise from the kiosk map (less than 40' from the handicapped parking spaces) first, for four holes around the open space, then again looping nicely through the dense but forgiving woods, and finishing back to the beginning on hole nine. Oh, and there's a well-executed practice basket setup at the start, as well.

The shot selection includes potential line options on every hole, and there are even a couple of gut-checks for newer players: holes four and nine have long grasses within reach, and the woods holes give you lots of tree kick potential. It was pretty impressive to get into the woods holes and see that they each had a 'best' line of flight, but that two or three options were there for each tee shot. That's not to say that players rated above Rec will be sorely challenged here. As an Intermediate level player, I'm playing Deuce or Die here, and working on my short game. And it's fun for all that!

Kudos for the fully accessible park in general: the sidewalks spill out into the park invitingly for wheelchair access from the beautiful, new shelter and bathrooms (in season of course) and splash pad water play area (likewise!). The woods paths and disc golf fairways have been generously mulched, and there are two playgrounds in there which don't conflict with the disc play. In all, this is a beautiful application of a family and accessible park.

If you want 'distance' in your disc golf, this isn't the course for you. Head on over to The Hill at Northview: it's about a two minute drive up the hill to the west. And if anything, the opening shots slightly favor a left to right line of flight. There isn't any elevation to speak of here (at most, the little artificial knoll ringing the opening holes).

I really enjoyed this course as a warm up when I hit town after a two hour car ride. And as a middling competitive player, I started thinking how embarrassed I'd be in my score if I didn't get 20 or under here. Since I managed it for two rounds, and hit metal twice, I felt like it's a fun little course. And my course rating is really based not on the challenge, but on how well this course accomplished its objective. Nice work!

Take the kids! The distances, from 120 to 185 feet, are family friendly.

Take yourself! A great place to practice an experienced putt and approach game. Enough trees to force you to shape your shots.

Short. A typical driver thrown by an experienced thrower will go past the baskets.

The grounds are also used for other events, like youth soccer practice, dog walking (watch your shoes!), and other family park type events.

I credit this course for helping my wife and kids get excited about disc golf. The quality of the grounds, the excellent baskets, and the shorter distances made the sport accessible to all of us.

Brand new Innova DISCatchers, Houck design Gold Tee-signs and Course Overview sign. Extra practice basket with "Around 9" putting game sign and pavers. Good quality 5' x 10' concrete tee-pads, well graded. Holes 1-4 are in a flat, grassy area of the park with some mid sized trees for obstacles to shape throws. Holes 5-8 are in a small woods with some large and lots of small to medium trees which demand various lines of flight. The last hole is back out in the open plain area and finishes up by the excellent mini-splash park, restrooms tables and other amenities. This course is the perfect first course for kids and families. Experienced players will get to use their mids and putters for a birdie / ace run feast! The course even complies with ADA guidlines for accessability for golf courses, so special needs players will be able to use all or parts of this unique design, depending on their abilities! The course is in a great neigborhood, with other 18-hole courses, The Hill @ Northview and Dillon Park just a stones throw away. With the future addition of the championship layout at Hazel Landing, the area is becoming a disc golf mecca for all levels!

Shorter, mostly open course. Won't host the Pro Worlds any time soon. But then that's not the type of course it is!

Great beginner course or a place to practice your mid-to-short control game before playing a round or two at other nearby 18-hole courses. Excellent amenities at the park make it the perfect place for families and kids to be introduced to the sport!
