Pros:

These Baskets are the old baskets from Young's Run DGC at Clarence Darrow Park, they were donated through the DGA Replay Program. Having baskets on school grounds of a school could lead to the potential for disc golf in the curriculum, or even during recesses giving rise to a new generation of area disc golfers.

Perimeter layout allows for airing out shots, while still needing to be accurate enough to make the birdie/par.

You can see how they used the available trees to maximum potential on a few holes, with the baskets being challenged as well.

You can see every basket, no matter where you're standing in the track.

There are restrooms right at the parking area, with a trash can.

Cons:

There aren't any tee markings, so make your own hole style.

The perimeter layout only allows for rhbh/lhfh shots, not much variety in the shot selection - I played the entire round with a DX Roc.

No benches, or any style of seating throughout anywhere, other than the pavilion by the parking area.

Other Thoughts:

The location and layout of this course allows for those with dogs on voice command to run without worry of wandering off. There is a dog park directly adjacent to the course, if you want a place to actually lock them in.

I was fortunate enough to be able to see a family of deer exiting the woods and eating along the woodline while getting to take a break and watch them do their thing.

This course is less than a quarter mile from my mom's house, so it will definitely be a good warm up track on my way to hit other courses.

The map showed me I should take some entrance through a neighborhood off Gennessee Ave, but just take the School Bus Entrance off Atlantic Ave all the way to the back, park near the pavilion. Walk around the building to the right, follow the fence line to the woods, you'll see the baskets as you approach the field to the left.

The 1.5 rating is literally just for the descriptive word it comes with - Passable and playable. The only reason I'd suggest this course is if you're on a mission to bag EVERYTHING. With the smallest bit of work and investment, this course could be a really decent beginner/practice loop.
