My three pros-

+ Small signs and small numbered concrete teepads at each hole, all baskets were in good shape and had big numbers
+ Interesting olive trees that had olives hanging from the limbs and scattered all about. The holes mainly work through tunnels in the trees with some strait shots and some big dogleg type holes.
+The parking is easily accesible and right next to the first tee making it obvious where to start, and navigation is fairly simple due to the small signs at each hole so you wont get lost navigating without a map.

My three cons-

-I played on a monday afternoon and there were allot of bums hanging out throught the course. Most were just enjoying the day mostly out of the way, but one group setup shop blocking #9 and one guy was napping 20' from the first basket which made me a little uneasy. I got the feeling this is common out here.
-The teepads are concrete, but way too small to be of much use. Most seemed about 3'x5' or so and mainly just marked where to throw from rather than providing good footing.
-I felt the park could have used the available space a little more by incorporating the big field into some holes, instead they all weave through the trees and end up more repetitive than it shouldbe been. The course works through the trees around a big field but it never comes into use for any big distance shots. Since the #9 tunnel fairway was blocked i walked across the field and played #9 as a 500' field hole which was a fun finish.

Overall I enjoyed playing out here for a quick round and would play here often if I lived in the neighborhood. Being a nine-hole course I didnt expect much and wasnt overly impressed or surprised by anything other than all the folks hanging out. The olive tree orchard is interesting to play through and that alone made it worthwhile for me, but trees alone do not make a course so if you're looking to add a challenging 18 after your quick round go play nearby Vista Del Camino Park.

-Nice layout amongst a groove of olive trees.
-The course is short and plays quickly-great for hot days when you do not want to be out too long.

-Flat course.
-Not much distance.
-Restroom and playground near course so it is important to watch for bystanders on some holes.

This is a good place to work on accuracy due to all of the olive trees. Good for beginners to play. I wouldnt drive far for this course, but if I was in the area, I'd play it. It would be cool if they made the course have the ability to play in reverse to make it a full 18.

Pleasant setting in a former olive orchard now a public park. Tees, signs and baskets all in good condition. Plays fast, and navigation is easy due to next tee indicators on signs and at the base of each basket. Hole lengths may not intimidate novices, but the thick olive trees make good obstacles on all of the holes. Well mowed and maintained. Course is easy to find as is the first tee.

Fairly short 9 hole course. Dog walkers, ladies doing yoga, city dump trucks, and picnickers all in the fairway on a weekday morning. Somehow I was able to play all the holes by throwing over and around the park-goers, but probably would not have been able to at a busier time. Flat terrain.

Best time to play is early morning to avoid crowds in the park. Played Buffalo Ridge after and 9 holes here was a good way to warm up.

The thing I like about this course is that it is a fast playing course that you can bust out a few rounds if you are limited with time and there is some challenge with the trees that keep it from being a boring course
I am impressed with how the DG community in the Phx area has not let the limited terrain stop them from putting courses all over for people to play

Easy to navigate. The numerous 'olive trees' make for some interesting challenges (go through them, or over them?). Plays fairly quick.

pedestrian traffic, especially if there is a soccer game going on in the field, as there was when we were there. not much variety of terrain or distance throughout.

could easily be expanded to an 18 hole course, as it looks as if there is more park available, but not sure there would be much point, as it looks like a lot more of the same.
