Pros:

1) No interference with other activities on this side of the park.
2) There are some trees as obstacles, they are mostly young to middle age trees so it will continue to get better over time.
3) Nice Discatchers used on this course. I love the visibility of the yellow band and it makes the baskets pop and look really nice.
4) I got the opportunity to throw a couple rollers on this course too. In fact I threw an entire round throwing a roller as my drive while I also played a regular round throwing in the air. I shot only 1 throw worse on the roller drive round and enjoyed comparing my scores just for the heck of it.
5) Distance variation is pretty good for this 9 hole course. There are some 100's, 200'3 and a bunch of 300's. This course will challenge you with distance and then you have to throw distance amongst the trees too. Overall this is a nice mix of distance, discs needed, and shots thrown.
6) There is a 4x4 with a wooden top that shows a general line map of the hole, par, and distance. All the holes are very visible so this is adequate in terms of signage.
7) The flow is intuitive and is easy enough o figure out where you are going once you find #1.
8) This course is beginner friendly because none of the obstacles are too difficult and recovery shots should always be available.

Cons:

1) There are trees on some of the holes but there are too many holes that are boring and simply wide open. Plant some more young trees on these other holes to help provide a more challenging shot and also liven up the visual of the course.
2) The course is pretty flat . . . while it does go downhill through the round and back up at the end, none of the holes have significant enough of an elevation change to really be worth mentioning.
3) There is one dangerous spot that I could see. A bad skip behind #5 will go all the way to #6 tee which is past and to the left of the basket. Other than that, most of the throws will be safe to stay near the holes intended fairway.
4) There just isn't enough to draw most players to this course . . . it will draw someone who is in the area, beginners, and course baggers such as myself. The last thing you want is us course baggers on your course! 
5) There are options on every hole . . . you can throw whatever you feel most comfortable as opposed to be forced to throw a specific shot. I like when it goes both ways that some holes have options and others mandate a specific line.

Other Thoughts:

All in all this is just another small town course in a small town park that is good for beginners but won't draw a lot of better players to it. It serves a purpose for the local town of Loyal and that is all that matters. My opinion of the course doesn't even matter because it was not designed with people like me in mind. I do think they could make it better with a few more well-placed trees to help define greens or fairways.
