Great addition to Boise! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 12, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-Great use of elevation change throughout the entire course.
-Plays down near the creekbed which offers a couple holes that have a decent amount of trees/folioge (aside from sage brush)
-A very good mix of long holes and technical holes (leaning more on the long side).
-Year round, does not get taken down during the winter.
-Distance markers are being placed and are VERY useful, some holes are deceptively long.

Cons:

-As listed in the description, this course is still under construction. No tee pads have been completely flattened and had brick/paver installed as they are working on finishing the gold course first. Until the course is completed it will is fairly difficult to navigate the course if you have never played it and aren't with someone who has.
-Definitely HOT if you are playing in the summer months, bring lots of water, no where to fill your vessels here.
-TICKS - be very aware of yourself and your dogs.

Other Thoughts:

Overall this course is a blast, bring a lunch and make a day of this and the gold course.

Once teepads are all installed this course will be the best in boise! IMHO.
