Another hole that you need to stay straight on. Veering right will ruin this hole for you. If you go too far left, you'll have an upshot, but a difficult one. Usually very gusty despite being next to an arroyo.
The best in Marana, IMO. Landing zone is a solid 300ft+ dead straight. If you fade too far left of right you'll be searching in the brush for your disc. Upshot: better to stay left and hit the rock than to go short right and end up in the bushes.
One of my favorites! Stay straight with your shot, or something with some negative HSS, once it clears the row of trees, the wind blasts the shot. If the basket is in the long position, a long turnover is the choice shot.
Good opportunity to throw a flew shot from the tee, as there is a tree that blocks the golf-line approach. Or, you can take the huge hyzer from right-to-left.
Short Basket Position: A simple, arching hyzer will land you close, as long as you can get over the trees guarding the bucket.
Long Basket: Consider aiming over the first row of trees to give yourself a run with your upshot.
What a starting hole! Possibly the most tricky #1 I've seen. My approach is to chose an overstabl fairway driver to launch out to the right, and left it fade left towards the basket. If you're on the bottom of the hill, consider laying up as a missed putt could roll back down the hill.
