Pros:
If you're looking for a course to bring a first time player, this is the place. There are discernible dirt tee pads for most shots, and about half the holes have a sign.
The park was clean and free of any debris or garbage.
The creek that runs through the course adds a little hazard on a couple shots, but for the most part is a nice little bit of scenery as it doesn't really come into play on any shot other than #2.
Cons:
This is basically a grade school course, so it's almost pointless to go through all of the cons. There simply isn't enough land here to make a legitimate 9-hole DG course.
Holes 3-7 play back and forth through an open field with a few small, scattered trees that provide some minor obstacles, but nothing a novice player couldn't handle. 1-2 and 8-9 have some trees as obstacles, but these are all 150-200ft shots reachable by a putter for most players.
Hole 7 (listed at ~380 on the sign) does allow you to , air it out, but it plays along a street which could be hazardous if you shank your drive.
Other Thoughts:
I came here expecting a small, beginner and it met my expectations. It's an ideal place to bring a young player, or first timer, but even most novice players will find most of the shots here too easy to enjoy.
