Other Thoughts:
Clockwise loop starting near the gym parking lot. Natural grass tees marked with numbered concrete blocks flush to the ground; Patriot baskets in good shape. No signage. The layout is pretty intuitive although you might have to search around for the teeblocks
Short holes (high 100's, low 200's), almost all straight. Treelines along some borders, and one small grove of trees to create a turn on hole #5 ( RH newbies will learn about fade/hyzers). A few fairways are narrowed a bit by bordering fences and buildings
Not available during school hours or team practices, but you can play it when the facilities are otherwise in use. I played on a Saturday morning when the track was being used for a fundraiser, and there was no problem. Very close to Chelmsford HS 9 hole (which I did not get a chance to play, due to athletic events)
Good for beginners (it's a Middle School after all); experienced players will find it good for mid/upshot practice. Definitely a place to bring a newbie, because there's almost no trouble to get in to
