McCullough Park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 25, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fun course that utilizes the park as best as possible. Nice family friendly park that has plenty of parking, a playground and walking path that goes around the park. Course plays in a big loop around the pond counter clockwise. The course uses the most of the trees that are provided on the course and has OB come into play on 6 and 9. Long teepads and solid baskets that are all in great shape. McCullough Park challenges you to use both forehand and backhand shots instead of favoring RHBH.

Cons:

I thought the course could have used a little bit more of the pond that the course plays around to provide some of the risk reward type shots. Pretty open course in general and plays similar to most neighborhood course around the state.

Other Thoughts:

Great neighborhood course that accomplishes what it sets out to do. Not much of a challenge but is great to practice in the Lubbock wind. Great quick round on the Southside of the city.
