It started out good.... 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 4, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Course was easy to find in the middle of a cute small town. The course matched the map that was attached. First five holes were not long but challenging with the number of trees influencing shot selection. It was a fun start to the course.

Cons:

Some signage was missing- #5, 6, and 8 tee markers all gone. Could not find tee spot for #8 at all.. marker and ground board totally gone... played from approximate spot on map.
From hole #6 on... absolutely no obstacles. Just an open field with 4 baskets. A disappointing finish to what started out fun.

Other Thoughts:

Not sure what could be done to improve it immediately. Long term- trees could be planted on holes #6-9 to provide obstacles in the future. Field does not have any other purpose. Gave course 3 for beginning part and 1 for second half, thus the 2 rating.

Yep, There’s The Park 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:May 19, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course does have a few trees on a few of the holes, but for the most part it is a wide-open course. There is some OB on a couple of holes and 2 slightly tough pin placements. The baskets and tee signs are decent and there are trashcans everywhere. I felt that the distance variety was good for this course. The 1st hole was actually my favorite on this course just because of the tree navigation.

Cons:

The dirt tee pads are a bit worn. #6 tee sign is missing. Navigation is not bad except know that #2 is down along the road from #1 basket and #6 is where the trashcan is just inside the wooded alcove. No restrooms here and there can be people playing baseball that may make playing #7 and #8 a little touchy. Parking is street side only as the gravel road that goes through the park is only one car wide.

Other Thoughts:

The Fun Factor here was just ok. I really did not mind this course, but it was nothing that made me want to play it again. It is great for this course to be here however, because this is it unless you travel over 20 miles to Fargo, ND. An Average course for a small town is the way I looked at it. It was fairly easy to find the park. At least they can sling plastic.
