• Restrooms onsite (and surprisingly modern inside)
• Nice baskets. 2 per hole.
• Tees are ok (mixture of rubber and concrete path use)
• Signage is great although basket markers were missing?
• Fairly easy to navigate with handy next tee pointers on the signs
• Park is quite large with multiple amenities

• Fairways run a bit close to houses and people areas in spots

Tips:
• When navigating to the course, head towards the dog park and then park near the main walking path heading towards the fields on the right. That puts you near #1.
• Do note the mandos and OB areas on the signs

Random Thoughts:
We don't often get to Dixon but we were having breakfast nearby (couple nice spots in downtown btw) and decided to check out this course and were quite pleasantly surprised. Despite the close proximity to all manner of other activities and residences, the course crew managed to come up with a nice mix of fun shots. Granted, there is a heavy emphasis on tree lined low ceiling/tunnel shots, although I suppose the big dogs could throw over the trees, but that's not something I'd recommend as that brings the aforementioned people areas into the line of fire. The OB areas are fair, in that they're trying to keep you away from the people areas, but they are sneaky in spots around the tennis courts as they're not hard to hit. The basket positions will, of course, have a say in some of this and some thought went into them, so they each present their own unique twists. As for the tees, they're a mixture of standalone rubber ones or a re-use of the walking paths. The walking path ones can be a bit short but they're well marked so you don't have to guess. Signage is some of the better ones we've seen, outside of the markers either being missing or not installed yet? Not sure.

As for the overall park, it's quite large with lots of other things for kids of all ages to do in it, and we only really explored the area where the course is. There's likely more in the rest of the park. But do yourself a favor and ride the little swingy roller coastery thing in the playground area.

Bottom Line:
This was a lovely surprise and a creative use of a mixed use park. If you need to work on your dead straight 250'-ish shots (and who amongst us doesn't really), this is the spot for you, but even if you don't, there are a few spots to let fly with some other shot shapes, so definitely check this one out, and seriously, do the swing! YOLO!

Nice baskets, and course is generally well kept.

The course is meant to be accessible for all skill levels, but general course design was pretty poorly done. Very few right to left shots, which would be most beginner-friendly shot shape. Several holes where the ceiling is too low to reliably throw under, making the best play to just throw over trees or tennis courts. A lot of maintenance of the low hanging branches would help, especially since you don't get ground play on the grass. Additionally, when they're able to install cement teepads, this will be a much better course.

The name of the course is annoying. The course is located at Hall Memorial Park, commonly referred to as Hall Park. No one refers to this park as Memorial Park and certainly no one calls it Memorial Field. Hall Memorial Park Disc Golf Course or Hall Park DGC makes much more sense.
The guy who runs the Facebook page for this course makes it hard to follow the course Facebook page. It's not normal to make posts under the page's account. If you want to share information, you should post from your personal account on the course page. Also not normal to comment on other pages using the course Facebook page. Just use your personal account to post, and add yourself as a moderator.
Other than all of the stuff above, it's a place to play when I don't want to make a trip to Vacaville.
