Pros:

- Nice open community park with ball diamonds, restrooms, and playground equipment. Pretty well the whole park is visible from any part of the course.
- Innova DSICatchers that are in good shape, and installed nicely.
- Signage at every tee box, with course par and distance.
- Generally good flow around the course, as it plays out and around the skirts of the park.
- Fair distance variation for a 9 hole course.
- #7 - Decent hole with the basket tucked up under some mature trees, with a pretty low green ceiling. L-R flick was sufficient for me, but a R-L RHBH would be quite the challenge to slide close into the hole.
- #8 - Probably the coolest looking hole on the course. Guarded tee box with a basket tucked tight in next to a tree line. Not the hardest of holes, but longer and good aesthetics.

Cons:

- While the course is generally around the outskirts of the park, there's plenty of unfortunate overlap. Holes #2, #6, and #9 play along or across the outer fences of ball diamonds. Probably just shouldn't play during a ball game or practice.
- Some tee signs are installed oddly, with the sign facing at right angles to the hole, instead of facing in the traditional manner we're used to. Makes navigation tough at first, and I had to refer to the map.
- Course par is also a little odd, with a couple of long Par 2's included.
- Generally a lot of wide open field holes, that aren't interesting.
- #9 - Tight fairway without great lines to the basket. Avoid the corn field to the right and the ball diamond to the left, which can't be seen from the tee.

Other Thoughts:

- I really hope the PE classes at the school get good use out of this course, because it's perfect for that! Hopefully they're introducing people to the sport.
- All in all a fair recreational/beginner course, that falls in line with my other 1.0 rated courses.
