Pros:
+ Immaculate grounds with landscaped gardens in a retirement community
+ Although the holes are short, there's a substantial variety: tight throws through trees, a few wide open shots, a hillside, a large pond bordering one fairway. It's like riding the train at Disneyland: a 9-holer that's been built to smaller scale
+ Easy-to-follow loop. From the parking lot you can jump right on to #8 or #9 and play your way back to your car, in less than 20 minutes
Cons:
- Concrete in-ground tee markers can be a little tough to spot
Other Thoughts:
~ The perfect place to introduce newbies to the game
~ One of the few courses I've played where the scorecard box actually has scorecards in it. As a bonus, the scorecard features different pars for differing levels of player (par = 32 for Beginner/Novice, 23 for Experienced - so that's four par 2's for you hotshots).
~ Perfect place to carry one disc (your throwing putter) and really learn how to shape your shots (high. low, wind, straight, hyzer, anhyzer, etc.)
~ In my way of rating, it's too short a course to be given anything higher than a 3 - but it's about as good as "little 9" can be
