Worth the effort to play

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Feb 8, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good mix of types of shots.

Cons:

To tee signs and tee markers are limited. You have got to use GPS to find several of the tee's.
You can't play if the camp is in use, so you need to contact them to find out availability.

Other Thoughts:

(Edit, either my pictures are all off by one or UDisc is off, I looked at the map on UDisc go write the review, but the hole numbers mentioned below say a hole later. I don't feel like correcting all those pictures right now)

This is a Christian Summer Camp that has an 18 hole disc golf course on the property. The course is not used by campers often if at all. But the guy in charge is a disc golfer and installed the course.

The locals have held tournaments and mini's out there.

There are Red and Blue tee's on most if not all the holes, it's just hard to find them as most of the markers have been hit by mowers.

In my case, I had a good friend living in the area that knows the contact. We made arrangements to play the course at daybreak on a Thursday morning. We had the whole place to ourselves except the owner who was out working on some facility repairs.

Playing with a local helped, didn't need to use UDisc to find tee's as we played what he was familiar with.

It's a good mix of types of shots from very long almost championship holes to what you would expect pitch and putt birdie opportunities.

Notable holes, hole 15 throws almost 300ft across the pond. The Red tee is your drop zone.

Hole 16 tee's off from the doc and has a nice green with water on almost 2 sides.

But my personal favorite is hole 12 that throws up a valley and under a bridge to the basket.

Would I play here again? Yes, I enjoyed this course. It does have some blah holes, but it also has some really good holes between.

The one thing I missed, I didn't see any of the white deer that live on the property. My friend saw them as he was driving in, but it was dark when I pulled in and I didn't see them.
