Pros:

Nice wide open course gives you an opportunity to really launch the big tee shots. Course is built in a new park which is maintained well and has very little traffic.

Cons:

This park really isn't big enough for even a 9-hole course. The layout has you walking back and forth along the perimeter of the park and the fairways become cluttered with tee signs and baskets as you work your way back and forth.

If you venture off the fairway, the rough beyond the borders of the park are very unforgiving. At one point I climbed a barbed wire fence and had to wade through 3-foot high wild grass trying to find my driver. Also, several of the holes follow the north border of the park, which runs parallel to a highway that is very close to the fairways. Had to play it safe on a few of those shots.

No tee pads or even markers was a little disappointing. As it is a new course, I'm hoping that these are added at a later time.

Other Thoughts:

Interesting course. I'm glad I tried it but I probably won't be back. The layout and size of the park just aren't adequate.
