Regular sized park, mini sized course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 20, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

First things first. This is not really a course, it's a practice field with 7 baskets in the way. The course plays clockwise in a circle. Pretty simple and you can start at whatever hole. Makes no difference.

The baskets are newer Mach III's that are all in pretty good condition and catch great.

The tee signs are just a 4x4 in the ground with a red metal arrow pointing up. The same signs as all the other under 9 holers in Fargo. It lets you know where to tee off from but that's it. I have no clue why they didn't label them with the hole # instead. Cheaper and it would help with navigation if you were to "play" the course. Oh well.

The park itself has other things going on like soccer fields and a playground. A walking trail as well. The grass was mowed and the park was very clean. Course is free to play and permanent.

The course is actually an awesome place for small children to play on and learn the game. If I lived nearby I would probably use this place for fieldwork and putting practice. It IS good for those 2 things.

Cons:

The course is good for what it is, a practice area. My question is how many tiny practice areas do they really need in Fargo? There's 3 4 hole courses and a 6 and 7 hole course. That's 25 baskets that are better than the ones on most of the ACTUAL courses in town. Seems backwards.

The distances are all under 150', probably under 125' actually.

No numbers on the tee signs.

Other Thoughts:

We played all these tiny practice areas today because it was supposed to storm, which it never did. We also just wanted to play EVERYTHING in Fargo so it had to be done. This and the other 4 under 9 hole courses aren't actually courses, they're practice areas. I gave this a 1 not because it's poor but because it's basically 7 baskets in a flat field. This review applies to those other 4 "courses" I mentioned. The number of baskets is the only difference. Figured I'd at least get a review up for the Big Boy of the bunch.
