Small and Fun 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Dec 4, 2009 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Hole 2. Awesome sweeping anhyzer drive.

-Fun course, though small / easy. Should make plenty of deuces. Good beginners course.

-Nice atmosphere. Clean park with basketball court, walking track, tennis court etc. Well maintained.

-High quality teepads and baskets.

-Tank!

Cons:

-Park will likely have joggers, kids playing, people walking dogs etc. Still very playable but might have to wait a minute a few times during your round.

-Hole 6 it can be easy to toss into someone's backyard if your drive fades right.

-Not very challenging overall.

Other Thoughts:

Not a bad course, but not amazing either. Pretty easy overall. If you live nearby check it out, or if you're heading out to Malvern you might as well stop by here too, not very far apart. Not worth driving too far to only play this course, but a fun 9 if you're in the area.

Unique course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 26, 2008 Played the course:once

Pros:

The 9 holes offer you a varied experience. Some are straight shots with trees in the way, others are over water or around a basketball court. Good use of the natural features to make a fun course.

Cons:

Park is busy and many other activities are always taking place. Must watchout for joggers, basketball players, dogs, water.

Other Thoughts:

Signs are helpful, but on hole #1 the pin is behind a group of trees, it is easy to mistake the pin that you see way out there as the first pin but it is not. The sign reads something like 200 and some odd feet and is correct, make sure to locate the pin behind the end group of trees. Course flows smoothly from on to the next all the way back to the front parking area.
