Pros:
- baskets are in good condition
-poles for signs to give you some sense of direction.
- park is well kept.
-good distance on the holes
-right next to the largest flower pot in america? i guess thats a pro.
-couple of interesting holes a blind shot and a basket on top of the creek bank.
Cons:
-no tee signs not even a number written on the pole thats there to give you any kind of idea whats going on.
-have to cross a major road twice with heavy traffic. and a side road twice.
-one hole plays right along railroad tracks the entire length of the hole. doesnt seem safe to me.
-had some ticks on me when i was done
-couple of holes run along an RV park could hit a camper if your not careful.
-the creek doesnt really come into play all that much I was more worried of losing it in the brush on the banks rather than the creek itself.
Other Thoughts:
-I never consider no tee pads a negative but just so you know there isnt any.
-joplin is just 13 miles away mclelland park is 27 holes of fun if your in the area skip this and bag joplin for sure.
-so far missouri has dissapointed me on courses they seem to have great terrain but never use it in the right way. Its ok to have a hole up or down a hill i promise it works!!
