Pros:

Mossville Warriors DGC is your run of the mill elementary school course. This is a solid course for children in that age range. It's a putter or mid kind of course for any type of more experienced player though.

There's metal stakes in the ground which serve as tee markers. These help you at least orient yourself in what's basically just a wide open grass field with one little patch of trees.

The baskets are newer Mach II's. These were all in great shape and caught pretty decently. One basket and pin position per hole.

The course is completely flat and mostly wide open so wind will be your main challenge out here. They do incorporate that little patch of trees for two of the holes too at least. That's about all they could do out here. So the design is pretty good for what they had to work with. Which wasn't much really.

The course is permanent and free to play. Highly unlikely this place will ever be busy. In fact I highly doubt you'll see another soul out here 9 out of 10 times.

The flow of the course is pretty straightforward. You won't need a map once you find hole 1. It also starts and ends pretty close to the parking lot which is always appreciated.

Cons:

I'm not sure if there used to be tee signs for every hole. It seems like if there was one for hole 1 that they'd have them for the rest. That was the only one present when we visited. Not a huge deal at all. Just kind of disappointing if the course is only ayear old.

When you step up to hole 3 you'll see a basket to the right of the clump of trees. That's hole 7's basket. Hole 3's is tucked into the edge of the trees just a bit left of the more obvious from the tee basket. This is where a map would've been helpful.

There's just not much in the way on most holes for there to be any type of replay factor. I understand it was designed for elementary school kids. But this one just doesn't have a single, even remotely, memorable hole.

Not playable when school is in session, which is unfortunate, since this would actually be a decent little course to play in the winter. At least it's open on weekends all year though.

Other Thoughts:

This is a baggers only type of course. It's decent at what it was designed for. But I can't in good faith recommend this course to anyone reading this. It's a quick round if you must play it. I'm glad I did because it was an easy one to bag but there's no way I'll ever be back here.
