Quiet park out in the mind of nowhere. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 15, 2013 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Very peaceful park.
Two sets of tees per hole.
Short tees have small blocks.
Nice signs.
Love the creek, rolling hills and waterfall.
Very nice variety of shots.
Shouldn't have to worry about hitting others using the park unless you are completely wild with your drives.
It's got a Bathroom and water to drink!

Cons:

Long tees have no pads just a post.
Baskets in dire need a facelift. If these items were fixed I could see rating it higher.

Other Thoughts:

I love the variety on the course. I which it was closer but I be back to play again. Make a drive over to play it is worth it.

Beautiful location 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Peaceful course, small but not necessarily easy

Cons:

Little/no break from the wind, the baskets are homemade but I guess a grant was applied for to get them updated. Remember the park is closed 10/15 till 04/15

Beautiful autumn fun. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 8, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Informative information booth including explanation of basic rules. Clear hole map at each tee, provided score cards with course map attached, even provided discs (cheap frisbees... but still something!) Great use of terrain, well groomed course, nice variety of short and long holes.

Cons:

Having never seen a pole designate the "expert" tee, it was confusing at first and not noted at all in the information. Long grass could bother some, but it maintained the great outdoorsy feel.

Other Thoughts:

This course, though off the beaten path was a joy to play. Though I played it in November (park was technically closed for the season... shh!) it still proved to be enjoyable. It is probably absolutely beautiful during the summer.
