Pros:

-This 18-hole (and growing) course has a variety of technical shots through a cross-country ski trail system while still allowing for a couple of holes to open up.
-Hole 18 has a great view and a fun shot down the sledding hill that can still be reached if thrown just right.
-Good mixture of ace runs as well as smart layups for solid par 3's.
-The mature hardwood forest protects the course from excessive wind, cold and even summer heat.
-Many of the holes have a high forest canopy that protects errant throws from landing in thick underbrush. There's usually a chance to recover.
-Course signage is in good shape for those wanting to play 9 instead of 18 holes.
-The course has the support of locals, the township and some dedicated volunteers.
-Additional baskets are expected to arrive in 2020.

Cons:

-There are only a couple of small towns on the island, so be prepared to take a lunch on non-event days.
-While the grounds are open year-round, the disc golf is realistically seasonal. If the cross-country ski trails are groomed, please refrain from walking on them. It depends on the year/winter, but snow will likely keep the course "closed" from December-March unless there is a specific winter event.

Other Thoughts:

Neither a pro nor a con, but the terrain is not a walk through a level city park. It's not a downhill ski course, but there is some elevation change so I don't recommend flip-flops.

Full disclosure: I'm one of the dedicated local supporters at this point, so I'm likely biased. That being said, I'm excited to be a part of this project and I see continued growth for this course and the region.
