Worth a play 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 3, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Landscape makes drives fun and different

Two long, open holes to destroy drives

Pretty easy to navigate

Baskets and teepads are in pretty good shape

Cons:

Not much diversity in hole length

Very open course so wind is a huge factor

Plays very close to fences which can get annoying if you go over

A lot of entrances to the park so finding hole 1 was a little difficult. It's right by the road

Other Thoughts:

Not an extremely special course by any means, but if you want to crank out a couple huge drives and work on 300' line-drive shots is really nice. I wouldn't suggest playing on a really windy day.

I liked this course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 29, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

-not too many trees to get me frustrated.
-not so open that it was too easy
-variety of distances
-not crowded even on a Saturday afternoon in the summer.
-parking close by first hole

Cons:

-hard to pinpoint the cons.. this course was a little dull I guess. Nothing special about it.
-signs could be a little better, but course flowed pretty well.

Other Thoughts:

Nice little 9 hole course. I would stop by again next time I'm in the area. Also the locals were very friendly and even helped to find one of our discs.

Good course, long, not technical 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 4, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

Enjoyable course. Well marked and maintained. All concrete tee pads. Good signage with distances to the tees. Course is laid out well, with some short and two very long holes.

I really enjoyed how hole 6 is laid out - it breaks up the monotomy of the course.

Lots of places to let loose and throw on this course. Great course for practicing your distance shots.

Cons:

Not a lot of technical to this course. While there are trees in a few places on this coures, there are plenty of open spaces to let loose and throw.

No par marked on the course. No elevation change on this course, makes it overall a little boring.

Other Thoughts:

I'm from California, visiting town. I enjoyed the course, and would play again. Hold 5 and 8 were the longest holes I've ever played. I've played better courses in California...don't know if we'd have this one in my group's rotation, since it is somewhat easy. But, any frisbee golf coures is a good frisbee golf course. It was a great way to spend an afternoon.

Mullally park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Oct 1, 2012 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Nice course to work on your long drives. Tees marked well with Hole # and distance. a couple of challenging holes like trying to putt uphill on #6. fairly easy to navigate.
since the last time i played they have installed concrete pads that are decent length, only one i had a problem with was hole 2 where it lined up with trees directly in front of the pad.

Cons:

no pars listed on tee markers. also wish there was a map or drawing of hole layout so you have a idea as to which way to throw on some holes. didn't see the basket on #8 until after my second shot then had to realign my approach to the hole.

Other Thoughts:

overall i liked the course. want to come back to try and improve my score. since i now know where the baskets are i should be able to score better. tip for hole #8. there is a blue trash barrel in the middle of the fairway.. aim at that from tee and will put you in line with hole. i drove into the drive by the tennis courts. parked by the restrooms and playground equipment. from there i backtracked to the first hole by the road. After the 9th hole my car was just the other side of the fence. so i didn't have to walk far.

wide open 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 4, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course is very easy to navigate through. Each hole is marked well with a wooden post that has the hole #, distance indicated on them. The park was very clean, and many trash cans were throughout the park. This course has mostly wide open shots although holes 3, and 9 had a random group of trees in the fairway. Hole six had a real unique hole placement with the basket on top of a little hill with trees almost all the way around the hill.

Cons:

The fact that there are only nine holes was the biggest con. The park looked pretty big and it seemed like there would have been room to put more in. None of the signs had the par, also no information on this site. After you finish hole 9 you will have a somewhat lengthy walk back to the parking area.

Other Thoughts:

With all the the wide open shots, and then the 607, and 700 foot holes this course has plenty of opportunity to let the big bombs go. Even with only 9 holes this course was still real fun to play.

close to home.... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 16, 2010 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Good use of a small amount of land. There is no way 18 would fit, but the 9 is spread out. A couple long holes(608, 700ft). Shortest hole is ~250ft. More baskets in the Muskegon area to throw at.

Cons:

Not many trees. Not many technical shots.

Other Thoughts:

If you live in the area, and have a spare hour, check this course out. I'm a little confused by this course. Its only 9 holes, but the holes are longer, but not technical.
Bring your big guns! The long holes are wide open. This course should be easily par-able, but I've yet to do it.
