Best course within 100 miles 2+ years

Pros:

Beautiful land to have a Disc Golf course on.

Very demanding course! But very fair. All the work that has been done to make this (private, but open to the public) course, the course that it is is very noticeable and greatly appreciated. (like stepping stones going up the hills for easier access to the next tee area. dug out tee areas for a level teeing area on a side of a mountain. Etc..)

The Corral hole. You'll want to empty your bag on this beauty of a hole!

Hole # 2, The Boulder hole... One has to work to get a Birdie on this hole. Need a great placement drive and the a putt that won't miss, cause you'll either be under the boulder looking up at your next shot or you'll be in a waterfall.

I really loved hole #10, several alleys to drive. But placement is the key to this hole. Wanta be on the right side of this fairway in order to save par.

Don't really care for Mando's on any course, but here on Hole # 1, Bend your disc like Beckham around an old barn silo and hope you didn't go right , cause there's a steep hill that you'll have to find comfortable footing for your birdie putt.

Macey and June (the dogs that walk around the course with you) are so cool. I wish I had their energy going up and down them hills like they do.

Like the turf tees, considering your a million miles away from everywhere. The tee pads rock!!

Cons:

I guess the biggest con, Is that the closest store (Dollar General) is about 5 miles away from this Great course. So pack up what you might need, cause once you get there. your there, a million miles away from everywhere

Other Thoughts:

Course Proprietor, Matt. Hold's Sunday Worship scrambles. I witnessed a great round with Matt on a Sunday Worship day, and I left like I was a million miles away from everywhere. What a Great feeling it is to play this course!! My 1929 different Disc Golf course played, Can't wait to come back and hang with the Turners :)

Pros:

I don't know, it's disc golf. It kinda sells itself. Beautiful, fun and challenging course with some shots and scenes you've never seen before. Come check it out! The hosts are nice most of the time and it's a must see.

Cons:

I have to maintain this beast! But we do a pretty decent job of it. The part of the course that is lacking is the tee pads. I'd like to get better artificial turf tee pads in here but we have been lacking the time and resources for them. I'd also like to see multiple tee pads and baskets/pin placements. The potential is endless but the course is epic to me still. Also, hole 1 and 5 are dangerously steep at points, especially when it is wet out here, so wear proper shoes. Might I add, Susie can be dangerous at times but she responds well to treats.
