BLAH

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 30, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

Course Infrastructure:

Navigation is easy, the course flows well both starting out and ending on the street you park on. Tee signs are in good shape and they do provide distance and where the basket is located even though you can see every basket from the tee pad. They had DISCatchers installed (which are my favorite baskets of all time, sue me!) and the baskets are in great shape. I liked the little bag holders (putter holders if you're going in with only 2 discs like me) on every tee sign, kind of a nice little touch.

Aesthetics:

Like a lot of courses in this area this place sits in a nice neighborhood free from vandalism or trash. It's a fairly quiet park aside from the few cars driving by or the neighbor's dog who wouldn't stop barking when I was on the tee pad for hole 3. You get fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and in an only disc golf area from what I can understand.

Cons:

No challenge:

This course is seriously wide open with the only incentive to throw accurately being that you don't want to throw your disc over a neighbor's fence which is hard to do anyway. Short, maybe 1 or 2 trees which aren't even in the fairway, no elevation, just nothing at all to keep you interested makes for a pretty blah experience overall.

It seems some locals play doubles here or *gasp* even tournaments and have tried to add extra tee pads to this course to make "18" holes. I mean do what you want I'm not here to stop you but why in the hell would you want to prolong the pain of playing this course? No matter where you put those extra tee pads it's all the same throw to a basket in a open field.

Other Thoughts:

I overall don't understand what the previous reviewers were thinking giving this a 3. I mean yes it's a course and such but overall I was hoping it would end by hole 5 or 6. It's probably pretty fine for new players and locals looking for a quick lunch round or something but I would avoid this overall. Course baggers you can get this in in 15 minutes but it's the worst of the bunch in the area full of bad courses.

Beginners only 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 9, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Not as treacherous as the course in Providence, good for beginners.

Cons:

Terrible weeds everywhere, easy to lose discs even though it's a pitch and putt course.

Baskets aren't numbered,I just picked one close to my car and started from there.

Lots of houses are in play if you make a bad throw or something.

Holes are mostly very short.

Teepads are usually a sidewalk, sometimes going sideways, so a run up is not an option. Also they were marked with cones.

Other Thoughts:

Maybe this course isn't done yet, but some things just can't be fixed, like the distances and the Teepads.
