Reviewed: Played on:Dec 1, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Fresh baskets
-Casual, family-friendly area
-Made by the Boy Scouts, so you know they took time and effort into making it
-Good use of the few trees to add challenge on some holes

Cons:

-Baskets needs some extra chains. Had three blow outs in my group of 4
-Criss-crossing fairways
-Very short
-On school property, so can really only be played on weekends.

Other Thoughts:

This course means a lot to me, being an Eagle Scout myself many moons ago. It was built and designed by Nick Naples, and upstanding young man who was sadly killed in a car accident along with two other Scouts and their Scoutmaster last summer. I choked up a few times playing.

That's why its hard for me to list any cons, but I do have to be honest. This course was built for the Middle School so they can incorporate the EDGE Program into the curriculum. The whole thing can be played with a putter.

This is a great, entry-level course in beautiful Woodland Park, CO. If you have that in mind, you'll have a great time. Just please be respectful.
