The only way to beat them is to find an eclectic mentor who teaches you how to catch flies with chop sticks. After long training montages involving painting fences and waxing cars, you will finally unlock the disc golf skills needed to compete with the Sky Pilots and face them at the tournament.

It helps if you bring a magic charm or two to keep the forest spirits at bay. The police also have set up a mind control module at the North End of the Park.
