Pros:

This course is put together very well, lots of tight fairways, and the amount of holes in the woods makes this a very challenging course. Cement pads, as well as marked signs and trails make it very easy to find your way. Lots of friendly people on this course but a fair amount of litterbugs as well. This is a course worth playing.

Cons:

Pin locations are never changed, it would be kind of nice for those of us who play this course on a regular basis.

Other Thoughts:

There is room for more. The course could expand by at least 6 holes if the manpower could be found. Trash cans have been put on the course, but more couldn't hurt.

Tight, tight, tight! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 2, 2008 Played the course:once

Pros:

Very well kept and very well marked. Nice baskets and tee boxes. Some well protected baskets and elevated tees & greens. Most holes strictly reward well thrown discs and severely penalize wayward shots.

Cons:

An awful lot of very similar holes. A handful of holes require as much luck as skill off the tee.

Other Thoughts:

Great to see trash cans on the course and most of them seem to be being used. Although this is a deep woods course, the ground cover is thin enough that you should not lose discs.

Nice Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 14, 2008 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Very nice long course. Mostly rolling hills but a few climbers. Blue and red tees provide a different feel. On a few holes the two tees make the hole a completley different hole. Woods can be tricky and frustrating but thin enough its not to hard to find a disc.

Cons:

The red (short) tees tend to be harder than the blue. Not very many short holes.

Other Thoughts:

This course can wear you out and beat you into the ground. Dont come here looking for a confidence booster. Bugs can get a little irritating but not that bad.

Pros:

Good variety of holes, doglegs left and right, multiple tees, well marked, easy to navigate. Concrete tees on blue, dirt on red. Attractive northern michigan 'wooded course' that is tightly technical without being overly punishing to errant throws. Not overly busy for a Friday night when we played it.

Cons:

The middle part of the course ('Anhyzer Alley' as the signs labeled it), is a bit tricky and tightly wooded. Bugs can be a problem in the woods, and poison ivy off the fairway.

Other Thoughts:

I played off the blue tees on our recent visit, while my companions played off the red tees ( in order to get a good overall picture of the course ), and we found that sometimes the red tees, while being shorter, were frequently more challenging in terms of being more technical. Overall, a nice course, that I would be happy to revisit.
