Needs help 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 28, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

Small course with easy short holes. Enough trees to keep it fun but not enough to make it overly challenging

Cons:

Signs are there but little to no information is on them. Some tee pads point the wrong way after baskets were moved.
Baskets are old and not well maintained. Some posts have most of the dirt eroded away

Other Thoughts:

For being one of the oldest courses in the state, it needs some help to regain some of its past glory

Fun Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 1, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Concrete tees
-Short grass makes discs easy to find
-Solid baskets marked with hole numbers

Cons:

-Crowded
-Trash on a lot of the holes
-All short holes
-Tee order not well marked

Other Thoughts:

Small course, looks very cramped at first but the wholes are set up to allow some good shots. None of the holes are very lengthy, but trees in the park make for some fun and interesting shots. There may be nicer courses around, but this one is fun and worth a play.

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 12, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

All the baskets are open so there is a chance to ace some of the shots.
Very shady.
Quick to play.

Cons:

Too congested. On several holes you have to wait for other players to play before you can shoot. Two of the holes actually cross each other.
Course has been changed a few times but the tee boxes haven't changed to reflect that so you have to search for a few of the baskets before you shoot.
Easy to throw a disc into someones fenced in backyard.

Nice for a quick round 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 2, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Great use of park space, all 9 holes (and extended 18) fit in this very compact course very nicely.

There is always a decent crowd (both in quantity and quality) so you can join up with friendly locals pretty easily.

EVERY hole is ace-able so there is a chance to get excited on every tee shot.

Good use of mature trees add some difficulty to a very short course.

Cons:

The course is incredibly short, and you wont be testing your whole bag here. A putter and a mid range will give you all the distance you could possibly need here.

The course floor is pretty worn down meaning your discs will skip for days! (could be a positive if your looking for those sorts of aces)

can get crowded enough that you have to wait on other groups pretty frequently (especially if you or another group is trying to play the back 9 which all go to a pin being occupied by the front 9)

Other Thoughts:

its a great place to go to practice approach after approach. You could get through this course in 30 min no problem, so its great practice for your pitch n' putt if your tight on time.

Pros:

short allowing for quick rounds just to get your DG fix

great for beginners, or to work on your short game

not a bad course usually not real busy

Cons:

in my opinion its too short could play with just a putter and shoot par

back yards can make you play a little conservative

Other Thoughts:

#5 basket got moved sometime between may and aug had me confused

Good warm up 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 15, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Easy course with interesting short shots. Enough trees to keep it challenging. Would be a nice neighborhood course, but not worth driving to.

Cons:

Hole signs are often wrong. A little scary with drives close to houses.
