Pros:

Moderate elevation changes and many trees make interesting throwing up and down hills. A course that's great to play if you are with a person who doesn't have a big arm (the drives are not that long, maybe 250-350 ft).
It's a good course to play on a windy day, as it's "down in the holler" and the trees absorb most of the wind. The trees are another great feature on hot summer days too, cooling it off nicely. There's restrooms and off-street parking, but sometimes the restrooms are locked up. There's a nice shelter with lots of picnic tables and running water. A quick drive downtown to DC's Watering hole for a cold adult beverage is just 5 minutes away. There's some good placed to eat downtown or the Hy-Vee on the hi-way has a nice sit-down restaurant with craft beer.

Cons:

I'm not sure who paid for or sponsors the course. It needs some love. The course seems to get mowed infrequently. The tees are "natural". They are just painted wooden blocks in the ground. Red blocks are the 2nd round and closer to the baskets than the white. With no upright markers, they ARE pretty hard to find if you don't know the course. When the grass gets tall it's easy to lose a disc.

Other Thoughts:

If someone knows who sponsors this course, I would be available to help once in a while. This is my hometown, I live about 20 minutes North now, but come down to play a few times per summer. Hole 1 tee is at the shelter, throwing down to the East. #2 tee is then North of hole 1 basket near the swings, throwing to the West and downhill. #3 tee is at the top of the NW corner by the sign, throwing East across the little valley. Hole 4 tee is by the road to the North and East of the #3 basket. Throw South to basket #4 on the left. That's should get you started.
