Pros:
Nice Mach 7 baskets in great shape
Well maintained park
A few decent holes
Cons:
Some holes are too close to backyards
Dirt tee pads
Only a post with hole numbers to mark tee's.
Very long walk from hole 7 to hole 8, very long.
Other Thoughts:
HOA private course, not sure how they feel about non residence playing, but I parked in the courses parking area and played a round. There is a trail that comes into play on several of the holes. The day I was playing there were several walkers, I just gave them the right of way every time and no one bothered me.
The course goes around the park clockwise, most of the holes are under 300ft so I would say this is a beginner friendly course, with the exception of a few of the holes that are just too close to backyards and the pond. Beginners are going to throw into those backyards and into the pond. (what am I saying, I threw my Star Valk into the pond on hole 9)
My biggest gripe is the super long walk from hole 7 to hole 8. There really isn't any room for any holes along that section, but it really messed up the flow of the course having to walk 1/2 way around the lake to finish the last 2 holes.
Would I play here again? No, there are too many "good" courses in the OKC area to play this little course. Not saying it's not worth playing, just saying I would rather play a more challenging course. Leave this one to the HOA and hopefully the neighborhood kids.
