Great coarse to just have fun 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 5, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This is a great course to just have a good time. It may be short but its fun going for an ace on every hole. You can also play the course multiple times since it doesn't take long to play. We usually play 3 rounds. Great for kids and beginners too. There is also a good mix of open and technical shots. All the targets now have a metal basket which is much better then the plastic ones show in the pictures.

Cons:

All the holes are short so you don't get to throw any long drives. The targets aren't that great but they work well enough.

Other Thoughts:

This is my favorite course to just go and have fun. The campground itself is very nice and has a pool, playground for kids, basketball hoops, game room, cabins, camp sites, showers, firewood on site, and a fun disc golf course. We recently camped there for my friends bday and had a blast. We played the course at night and lit up the targets and put glow in the dark tape on our disc's and it worked great. We used a blacklight flashlight on the tape to make it glow before we threw and it was easier to find our disc's then in the daytime. I can't wait to do it again next year. There is almost never anyone there playing so you can do whatever you want. You don't have to play the course the way it's setup. On some holes you can move back a good ways to make the hole longer and also start from one tee spot and throw at a different target, for example, we once started at the 5th tee and threw at the 7th target and called it a par 5. If you really want par 4's and 5's then just make up your own holes if there's now one else on the course. It's best to do this in early spring before the trees and bushes are filled in. The bugs can be bad some days so make sure you have bug repellent. This isn't a course for the serious player but if your looking for a good place to camp or to just have fun then check it out.
