Newly Re-Done Osborne Park DG 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 23, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Fun great small course on the Shores of Lake Erie in Willoughby, Ohio. Course has been re-done and now starts at front of park. Several tough holes through the woods and a extra long hole 9 570". Better flow than the original layout!

Cons:

Multi use park, still need concrete. potable restrooms needed in Winter.

Other Thoughts:

I really like the new and improved layout! Great views of Lake Erie! Epic Winter course!

Great for beginners 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 7, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Gorgeous scenery right on Lake Erie
Very forgiving course for beginners
Good mix of wooded and open holes
In a well maintained park
The areas where your disc might get lost are already well trampled from like - minded disc golfers
Plenty of butterflies, lots of natural beauty
Plenty of flowers
I got my first par shot here!

Cons:

Large break wall prevents most easy access to Lake Erie. If your disc lands in the lake, you might as well forget it!
Some of the holes are little more than unobstructed straightaways.
One of the tees has a root growing in it, you're better off using the grass next to it.
Two of the holes are extremely close to a football field and a baseball field, so if you're playing during game days you may have to be extra cautious on your shots
Locals seem to consider most of the course a bike lane / dog walking area. Be wary of people oblivious to your playing!
Plenty of flowers = plenty of bees and wasps, watch out!

Other Thoughts:

One of my favorites in the Cleveland area. Very scenic park with a decent course. Watch holes 3 & 4 as you're playing right near Lake Erie. Hole 4's fairway is very tight, with the lake on the left, and a hill with neck high grass on the right. Definately intend to play this course again.
