This public park is very well maintained. The grass is cut, the trash is picked up, the hedges are trimmed, the baskets are new and in great condition, etc... it was a treat to play here.

Usually public parks (especially in Germany) are aimed at red level players, but I think this one is not an easy 27. With an average hole length of 344 feet (2nd longest in Germany, only after Flensburg) and a few trees in the way, getting more than one birdie here is quite a feat.

The design is very logical and flows very well. Usually the holes will follow some sort of walking path which act as quasi-fairways. Since this course is only three months old, the tee pads are cement pads that are about 1 foot by 1 foot and only have the hole number on them. I found all but 2 of these little blocks on my first round and if you use a little bit of common sense, it shouldn't be hard to navigate without a map once you find the first tee.

Hole #5 is the signature and my favorite hole. The risky (yet rewarding) route is a big hyzer over the pond in the middle of the park. It's really cool to nail this shot.

As aforementioned, no tee pads or signs yet. I'll approximate distances (via Google Maps or something) later and post them, so you guys have an idea.

The park isn't that big and there's no room for expansion, but it's a nice fit for 9 holes. Since the fairways are walking paths, you can count on park goers walking around. This place is not exclusively disc golf, so you have to watch out a bit.

This is one of the 10 new courses built in 2011, and I like the explosion of disc golf courses in Germany. Not only this, but if the other courses built this year also don't have a terrible design, then I'm a big fan of the direction it's going.

I wouldn't say that this course is a huge destination, but it's a great place to stop if it's on the way to somewhere.

(And for the immature guys among us...I lol'd when I saw #6 and #9 on the top of the hill together. Maybe you will too, hahaha)
