The grounds here are very impressive. The large buildings sit right on the edge of of a lovely man made lake complete with crocodiles and turtles and who knows what other Floridian creatures.

The disc golf course is not quite as impressive. As thrembo pointed out, there are zero amenities here and that includes the essential ones like tee pads, on-line and signs. Also absent are the less essential amenities such as benches, garbage cans, bag holders, course sign, next tee arrows, rest rooms and staging area. This absence of pads, signs and a map makes the experience here for the traveling player one frustrating round. The course does have Discatchers complete with numbers. They helped. And it was fairly windy.

I found the first tee and was able to play # 1 and 2. I never located the 3rd tee. I couldn't find # 8 tee or basket. Never found the # 9 tee. Couldn't find the # 10 tee but did like the basket placement. I screwed up and went the wrong way missing # 11. So obviously missed the # 12 tee but did play to the 12th basket. Found # 13 tee pad, I think but didn't find that basket. From here to 18, I located the baskets. And I still have no idea where the infamous 19, 20 and 21st holes are?

16-17 and 18 very pretty and also, fairly challenging, playing right along and across the lake.

I couldn't find the # 15 tee which I really wanted to check out the short throw across that part of the lake.

No map.
No pads.
No tee signs.
No navigational aids.
Holes that play down tight paths.
Chance of lost plastic in crocodile infested waters. (My wife, the amphibious, submerged, hibernating, reptile expert, swears these were crocs and not gators). She quotes all kinds of facts she recently learned on our of our guided tours in the Everglades.

I assume after proofing this review that I wasn't exactly enamored with this course. I would have been more impressed if they were handing out Whoppers or had maybe put up some tee signs. Maybe the course has been severely impacted by some recent hurricane activity? This is another course that I would have loved to find a local guide but the fact that I played on a beautiful Florida, Wednesday afternoon and had the entire course to myself, might just speak to it's popularity.

Very scenic course. Wildlife abounds on this pretty well maintained (grounds anyway) course. There were a lot of "look at that!" moments as we made our way around the large building and retention pond that the course circles around. The course as it sits now has holes of a mostly medium to long range. A fun round can be had here, provided the cons can be overcome.

There are no amenities on this course at all. No tee signs, no navigation aids, no benches or anything else to sit on, no garbage cans. etc. The hard to find tees are grass marked with concrete balls or spray painted on the paved sidewalk. We found most of them, and it appears that there is only one tee per hole now.

I would strongly encourage people who want play this course for the first time to get a guide or play with some locals. I would say that this course is not a good one for new throwers and that rec level golfers might find the course to be long and frustrating. The course comes off as being unfinished and I'm sure that hurricane Irma didn't help matters any. The potential is here for a much better course and hopefully, the needed improvements will be made.

Potential. There is a lot here. A great variety of terrain. A plentitude of well-designed holes. Some real challenge. Shot shaping. Potential carries. Chances to bomb drives. The course really gets started on hole 5, which opens a series of wooded holes that feature great lines and tight but fair fairways. Going off the intended line will lead to serious trouble but the fairway itself will be clean. An entire course with holes like these four would be a really nice play. But then the course opens up. A lot of the next set of holes feature scattered trees, (of a variety I haven't seen but they are really nice looking and are great for creating protected greens as these monsters essentially shelter the basket) and minor elevation changes that allow the set of holes to produce a great variety of required lines, even if they are more forgiving than the previous holes. A pair of them play on either side of a ridge with a tree line separating the two fairways. Another plays off a hill, across a field and into a wooded alcove.
The final part of the course plays along the water. It looks like a man-made pond but it's possible that it was natural and retaining walls were just built to corral it. These are the open holes that allow a player to air out a disc and get some real distance on a drive as well as hang it over the lake and hyzer it back to shore. However, these are the holes where I couldn't find a few tees so I'm not entirely sure how well they truly play.
A player will have a chance to do it all here, if he can properly locate all of the tees and baskets. If that aspect of the course is ever finished, this will be a real gem, I think.

The tees are natural and marked only by a pair of white domes. Not so easy to see from any distance and if you don't know which direction to look, tough to find. At least there is a small hand-drawn sign that indicates the number of the tee and most often the basket is in sight but be prepared to occasionally throw to the wrong basket, and be prepared to be fairly constantly lost. Navigation aids are non-existent, either from tee to basket or basket to tee. A player will be very frustrated on his first visit here.
The start of the course is a little rocky as the first four holes play around the entry way to the complex. 1 and 2 are essentially filler and 2 plays parallel to the road. 3 is actually a bit interesting as it plays up into a wooded knoll but that knoll is within the rotary. 4 does begin over the road and it does offer a big chance to air out a drive but it is a completely open field. The roads do come into play a bit more later on but I have no idea how much those are used or if only as certain parts of the day. This isn't a public park so some factors that would be worrisome at a park are not necessarily detriments here. They certainly aren't on weekends.

I feel like this is one of those course was developed to the point where the locals could play it and love it and further development stopped. There is a very good course here but it needs some basic amenities before I could recommend it to a travelling player. Even just a map would have been very helpful. I was lucky enough to encounter a group of locals on the 5 tee who gave me a quick rundown of what to look for but if I hadn't I would have a lot of difficulties. Even so there were a few tees that I gave up on finding and just shot from close to the previous basket. But when I finished, I knew what to look for and made sense of the first four holes.
This should be the best course in Miami. Hopefully it will be someday.

Nice layout with some water hazards. Grass is usually cut when I have gone out there. Some good open shots mixed with some technical shots.

Lack of signs and tee pads would make it difficult to navigate for someone new on the course.
There is a problem with standing water, especially on hole #18 after rain. I have hit that several times when going out there.
