Pros:

Gorgeous park with a good mix of long, medium, short, wooded and open holes with a nice variety of shots required. The lake comes into play on a few holes if you shank your drive or get a bad kick off a tree.

There are 9 pins and dual tees with the signs numbered 1-18. Some of the holes feel different from the other pad, but most are nearly the same.

The tee pads are quite possibly the largest I've ever seen and made of stepping stones.

There's a good shot variety and mix of hole distances here. A number of holes are short and easy, but holes 10 and 18 on the other hand are quite challenging par 3's.

Cons:

The biggest drawback to this course is the walk from hole 2 to hole 3. From hole 2 you walk past hole 4, past hole 3's pin to get to the pad 3. I've had to wait a few times to let walkers go by, but nothing unreasonable.

The wooded holes are extremely short but elevation is in play on all of them. A couple of the tee signs are missing.

A number of the alternate pads are just longer or shorter versions of the hole.

Other Thoughts:

It appears they aren't charging to play here anymore. Signage from 29/32 to the park is very good. There are lots of little turns, but they're all marked. Once in the park, you'll want to park close to the bridge on the right.

This is a great course of newer players to develop their game and this course will challenge them to hit their lines and throw straight and turnover shots on some holes. For a more advanced player, this course is fairly easy although there are a few holes that will still challenge you to get a birdie.
