Small Town 'Cute' Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 27, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

There were nine 'holes' designed for this course.

In a well maintained block wide city park.

Was an Eagle Scout Project - FINE JOB!

Cons:

There are six baskets and nine holes to play, and you throw across the park many times. If there is more than one group playing you will interefere with one another many times.

Finding the next tee sign was a challenge at times, and there are no tee pads.

Tee signs (4 of them) we NO WHERE NEAR ACCURATE on feet distance from tee to basket.

Other Thoughts:

Once we played the course one time through the second time was seamless. You can get through two rounds in under 30 minutes no problem.

Great short course for beginners, although they might hate the amount of low hanging trees.

Advanced players can only work on their midrange and approach game for 7 of the 9 holes.

Nice small course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 8, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Nice signage
-Decent baskets
-Good layout
-Short / quick play

Cons:

-While the trees come in play, not much interest for more experienced players
-A map would be nice
-Grass tees with some bricks to mark

Other Thoughts:

A nice small course in this town's park makes for a quick, but fun round. There are 9 tees utilizing 6 baskets. Took a minute to figure out, but did not detract from the round. Was begun with fewer tees, but finished as an Eagle Scout project to make 9 holes. Would play again!

Cute but not Worth It 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 14, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Well laid out and easy to follow
-Good for beginners

Cons:

-Only 4 baskets, last one is more like a practice hole
-No concrete tees
-Too small
-Takes 15 minutes to play

Other Thoughts:

Not much to say about this course, it's so small. It fits inside a one block square city block. There are 4 holes with the last one so close to the tee that a putter could be used.

Still there's an elegance to it's simplicity. The park is well cared for and the course is clear. The baskets are good but there are no concrete slabs to tee off from There is however a line of brick in the ground that points you in the direction of the next tee and at least gives you a clear starting point.

Good course for those living in town who want to practice, but not worth going out of your way for
