Lush course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 13, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

The course has lot of elevation change that is well-incorporated into the design. The course plays 9 holes back to the parking lot, with the back 9 also looping back to the parking lot. There is also a shelter there with an ample amount of undesignated parking.

Great Discatcher baskets on all 18 holes are easy to locate through the thickness of the greenery. There is a good mix of tight shots and open bombs, as well.

Cons:

The course has a lot of undergrowth during the summer months. I have heard of many instances where an otherwise great throw takes a long time to locate. The photo of hole 2 in the "links/files" section is a good representation of the ground cover in the course. Bring bright-coloured discs or discs that you would not be upset about parting with.

The tee pads are all loose gravel which can be a little bit unstable at times.

I have a strong negative opinion towards hole 2. There is no real defined line to hit and the opening that is presented is too small and too sharp of a dogleg.

Other Thoughts:

Make sure to bring good shoes for this course. You would find it hard to bring a stroller or cart into the course as the terrain is quite rough.

There is no OB on the whole course, nor are there any water holes.

The parking lot can be treacherous to get to if you have a smaller vehicle or a low-clearance vehicle.
