Pros:

Patriot's park is a nicely wooded course with some moderate elevation. The course is located in a nice multiuse park. The course itself is located away from all the other activities and going ons in the park. Disc golf exclusive with the exception of the occasional wandering walker.

The tee pads are concrete. Standard run of the mill pads. Decent sized and plenty big enough for holes of these lengths. One tee per hole.

The baskets are old school Discatchers for the most part. The ones with the slanted bottoms to the cages for the majority of them. There was at least one more modern one thrown in early in the round. These are starting to show their age but still caught good enough. One basket/pin position per hole from what I could tell.

The course plays around the exterior section of the park in the woods. There's some decent elevation. Moderate would be the best way to describe it. Starts out flatter and gets hillier throughout the round.

There's a well rounded assortment of shots required here. The lengths aren't too long by any means, but the lanes are pretty tight. Having both a backhand and forehand will do you favors here with some of the tighter holes. The rough isn't too bad so scrambling is usually very doable if you're off line.

The flow of the course is generally pretty easy to follow. Early on at least.

Decent course for those of us that don't throw very far. Holes range in length from 196' to 395' and are all par 3's.

The course is permanent and free to play. Plenty of parking and portable toilets between hole 18 and the parking lot. I'd be tough to lose a disc out here too.

Cons:

The course was extremely muddy when we played, but they had just gotten hammered with a few days of storms before we played. That being said, the first few holes seem like they'd be perpetually wet for good chunks of the year due to the terrain and location of the holes. The tees for the first third of the course were a muddy mess.

There was clearly some sort of redesign here at some point. Some of the signs didn't line up distancewise with the current layout. This was moreso on the back half of the course. Using a map/Udisc is recommended to avoid confusion.

The course starts in the back corner of the park and doesn't really end close to where it starts. Nothing too ridiculous, but not ideal either.

Other Thoughts:

This was kind of the definition of Decent/typical. Middle of the pack type of course. Enjoyable but borderline forgettable. It's worth a spin if you're in the area but only if you've played all 3 at IDGC first. We played this after hitting up all 3 at IDGC and it was doable.
