Great Fun Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 18, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Nice park. Great course for beginners and Advanced alike. Lots of different shots and subtle terrain changes. My fav. course in Augusta. Often lots of people to pick up a game with.

Cons:

Hole 2 is near a play ground. Not in the way but can be a distraction. Not much they can do about it, but almost the entire course has sand fairways. Just the type of soil we have in this region but it can be annoying picking up a disc and its covered in sand. The back 9 has tighter fair ways and a bad shot can quickly be 20 feet into thick woods.

Other Thoughts:

Great course. Nice family park. Always nice people I love this course! Must play if in the Augusta area.

More like PK disc golf sanctuary! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 15, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Impeccably maintained by the man, the myth, the legend.....FAST EDDIE! Great parking, easy access, a nice mixture of holes for both rec, intermediate, and advanced players alike. You can almost always find someone to play a round with you if you're up for it.

Cons:

The only con I have is that I'm not able to play here every single day.

Other Thoughts:

If you have a chance stop by and chat with Fast Eddie. There's more than a 99.9% chNce he'll be there in his bright white shirt chugging along on his golf cart or partaking in a quick round. Every one is a better persons for knowing Fast.
Get out there and go play Pendleton King, it's a gem!.

Nice 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 30, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

I have played this course over 100 times and it never gets old. There is a nice blend of wooden and open holes strategically placed. The course is maintained well and the surrounding nature is pleasant. There are easy as well as difficult holes as well as A and B positions for some holes. This is a great course for any skill level.

Cons:

Hole 2 is beside a playground

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 17, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

There have been some really good improvements over the years and recently. Benches at every hole, basket locations, flags on baskets to gauge the wind, added a practice basket recently, & maintained clean course. I've heard rumors of adding alternate basket locations.

Cons:

Although some cover has been planted on hole 1 and 2 picnic tables can come into play.

Other Thoughts:

Course has come a long way from where it was a few years back, short and wide open. Course is maintained well and improvements are being made every time I go back it seems lately.

Pendleton King 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 26, 2013 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Absolutely stunning park. Gorgeous landscaping, wonderful brick constructs, and the proper amount of water... all of which is off the course.

Cons:

Would like to see at least one Par 5 and few longer holes. but as a casual player, I can't think of anything I don't like about it.

Other Thoughts:

There are dogs barking in the park.... hahah if you here people complain about that just chuckle and enjoy being in a wondeful park.

Really well maintained, benches on every hole, and they are constantly improving it.

this is the place to play in Augusta.

Pros:

Dedicated maintenance in beautiful setting - gardens , arboretum and dog park . Half of holes through woods , mostly open shots though . Usually plays to 54 with 3 or 4 alt pins can go to 57 , no stress fun to play course great for beginners .

Cons:

Gated park opens at 8 AM closes around dark . Tons of pedestrian traffic - but aware of the course and etiquette towards golfers .

Other Thoughts:

Another must play in Augusta - ace runs and birdies are plentiful .

Pros:

Very fair course. You do not have to be able to throw 300-400 feet to shoot par.Very nicely maintained.Sometimes you will hear dogs barking in yards that border the park, but that is okay as this is not a library.Improvements/beautification is constant and ongoing.

Cons:

It is located in a public park and sometimes(not often) people walk on the course on a couple of the holes.

Other Thoughts:

Played today and it was beautiful.Very clean and friendly course.

low rating is old and pre-update 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 9, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

really fun course. reminded me of redan in dekalb county. the low disc score doesn't reflect the redo they did this past year.

Cons:

it was a little hard to find the next tee on a couple of holes.

Other Thoughts:

check it out. don't let the 2 disc review deter. if you'll notice all reviews since the redesign have been great.

Redesign must've worked 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 25, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great course, after reading reviews from pre-redesign, I can tell that they did a great job with this course. Great scenic playing, does not interfere much with park goers. Nice easy pace. The next tee signs are plentiful and perfectly placed.

Cons:

Scorecard and course map on both this site and ADGA are now obsolete and need updating. Also, on some holes it was hard to determine which par we were playing. (some holes were Par 3/4, with perhaps a 30 foot difference)

Other Thoughts:

Great course in Augusta, did not fit the stereotypes heard about the area at all.
