Great Disc Golf Course with Awesome Owner 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 17, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Innova Baskets
-Great Signage and Arrows for Next Tee's
-Gold and Blue Tee's, allowed me to open up my arm and my partner who had never played to have a fighting change from the Blue Tee's
-Awesome Owner, we talked and he gave us a brief overview of the layout and his plans for the future
-He even presented us with a Coca Cola after our round, nice and cold too!
-Great Fun Course for Everyone
-Short Easy Back 9 because he is re-arranging the regular Back 9

Cons:

-Hole 5 had a few sand spurs but I don't mind that at all.
-A couple low hanging limbs that could be trimmed back a tad, but still visible lines

Other Thoughts:

Overall this was an awesome course and I shot -14 and played from the few Gold tee's that he had for some of the holes. Awesome Owner, talked with us about anything I had asked. He is really trying to grow the sport and I respect that 100%!

Fun Round 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 10, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

- In a very nice setting. No other golfers on the course while I was there so my time there was very relaxing and peaceful.
- Unique site, It seems like the owners must be very casual and trustworthy, because I just strolled up to the farm and started playing.
- Overall I liked the layout and some of the creativity on many of the holes.
- The distance markers on the course are great.
- Baskets are decent

Cons:

- Had a little trouble orienting myself around the course as I got started. At first I was a little worried the course was taken down.
- A few of the holes (I think they are 6, 8,9) go through a patch of woods. Was badly over grown so kind of rough playing through. If they trimmed it out 2-3 times of year (A weedwacker would do the trick) then the course would be set.
- I didn't mind paying the $5 fee (I totally respected the owners allowing visitors come and go like this) However, They should try to make an annual membership available to make it reasonable for players nearby.
- Obviously you can't control the location, but it is not in the most convenient location. Might only be able to play once a year at most.

Other Thoughts:

Overall a very fun round in a cool spot.
- I notice they have the tee markers in place for a second course. Would love to see that become permanent.
- I am told they have a tournament in the winter there where you can camp out on site and everything. Will definitely keep that in mind as I would imagine that would be a lot of fun.

Fun On The Farm 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 6, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

New-comers will be able to navigate this course easily with directional arrows pointing the way.
All tees (blue & gold) are marked with footage posts and colored markers.
Baskets are well kept Innova Discatcher Sports targets.
Hole variety is interesting and fun with farm themed obstacles like hale bales and tractor tires.
Covered pavillion provides lots of extras like clean restrooms,drinks,pic-nic tables and rocking chairs.
Other fun things to do include put-put and corn hole games and corn maze in the Fall

Cons:

Allthough several holes are shaded, reccomend morning hours to beat the heat in the summertime; back 9 have no shade at all.
Course layout may be modified for the corn maze parking in the Fall.

Other Thoughts:

I have played this course dozens of times and have had fun every time. Beginners and intermediate players will find this course challenging. You can take your time on each hole because crouds won't be a problem. It is hands down my favorite course.

A Farm-Good Tyme 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Feb 19, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

*All Innova Discatcher Sports in great shape.

*All tee's are marked with numbered post. Pro/AM

*Navigation was the easiest I've seen on any 19 hole course.

*Farm obstacles made the course more challenging and fun.

*The front nine had a great variety of change in distances and open to wooded holes. The back 10 was a fun ACE race place!

*They rent discs, sell drinks and have clean restrooms.

*Great course for all skill levels.

Cons:

*In the excessive heat, the back nine is wide open and can become a bother.

*The back nine holes were all too similar in the regards of distances and all being very open.

Other Thoughts:

Well worth the $7 bucks to play. I found this course to be one of my favorites. The layout was good with a beginner to intermediate appeal. A must play if in the area!
