Update

Course was in excellent condition today.

Recreational 9-hole course in a serene municipal park along the scenic Yellow River. Mowed fairways, mature trees and a creek along with some elevation changes. Course layout and information sign is located between practice basket and 1st tee.

NOTE: Course is closed during winter months (equipment is removed to prevent damage from spring flood, ice floes) and also during week of July 4th to accommodate carnival parking, rides and games.

Local Directions:

Take Hwy 80 into Pittsville (from either north or south) and turn west (at Subway) from Hwy 80 / 2nd Ave onto Jackson St. for 1 block, then left (south) at T intersection onto 1st Ave, then right (west) into Riverside Park (Bower Ave is not marked, but look for park entrance sign). Follow the road 1/4 mile to parking areas near group of park shelter buildings.

Main course sign is on wooden pole between practice pin and 1st tee.
