Pros:

-Hole 4 throws over the amphitheater to a guarded basket, you're not going to see holes like this too often.
-Baskets are high quality
-Tees are in good shape and are big enough
-Posts mark the tees and some are still legible with maps, distance, par, etc.
-Last hole is pretty long and somewhat challenging.
-Good place for ace runs and a chance for a low score
-A few trees here and there, not too heavily wooded make this a good place for beginners
-If you do have kids/a family the pool, picnic facilities, etc can be a good thing.
-No chance to lose discs.
-Close to University of South Dakota's campus.

Cons:

-Big pool, picnic shelters, amphitheater, near campus, etc make this a not so peaceful place for disc golf. You are going to have to wait to throw here and there especially during the summer.
-Not too challenging. Overall kind of short and not too many obstacles in the way.
-Layout isn't the best, holes are crammed into too small of an area and this causes confusion. I drove towards the wrong basket 2-3 times and went back to re-do the hole. There is also some extra walking that could be eliminated.
-Fairly busy with disc golfers.

Other Thoughts:

Both courses in Vermillion are about the same quality in my opinion. That quality is not high. This course really isn't good or bad, it is what it is. Yankton has a better course ~25 miles away. There really isn't a lot to offer as far as disc golf courses in this area.
